KOKODE installs and supports on-premises AI for organizations that need to keep sensitive data on-site.

Data boundary

Documents, conversations, workflows and settings stay inside and belong to your organization.

The AI model is a replaceable part. Your accumulated knowledge stays with the organization when the model changes.

Open the KOKODE app on your Mac and use its local chat interface. No account creation or LAN access is required.

Ask through chat. AI output is a draft: your staff review it and make the final judgment.

Updates and backups

Bring update files inside by USB or similar media. No internet connection is needed.

Backups go to storage managed by your organization, never to KOKODE’s cloud.

Major AI version upgrades cost US$9.99 each; bug fixes and security patches remain free.

Guided and On-site Setup include 12 months of upgrade packs and email support. Self Setup is managed by the customer.

Buy KOKODE once: choose self-installation, remote onboarding with 12 months of upgrades and support, or on-site installation.

Self Setup: US$119.99 per Mac. Commercial license and offline installer to set up on your own Mac mini.

Guided Setup: US$239.99 per Mac. Remote onboarding plus 12 months of upgrade packs and email support.

On-site Setup: US$959.99 / site (from). On-site installation in selected areas, with local LAN/Wi-Fi and mobile-access setup subject to assessment.

Choose an installation plan
Tell us one task you want AI to handle but cannot send to the cloud, such as summarizing contracts, searching internal documents, explanatory materials and documents from audio.
Bring your own Mac mini
KOKODE does not supply the equipment. You provide the Mac mini.
Install and verify it using your chosen plan
Install it yourself, receive guided remote setup or request on-site service. The default edition is limited to the installed Mac.
Install on your Mac
Requires an Apple silicon Mac with macOS 26 or later and 32 GB of memory. 1. On a Mac that is online now, download the .dmg (about 17 GB). If the Mac you are installing on is online itself, download it there directly. 2. Send it to the Mac you are installing on with AirDrop. 3. On that Mac, open the .dmg and drag KOKODE into Applications. Eject the .dmg, then open KOKODE from Applications. First-time setup takes about 1–2 minutes. 4. Once set up, everyday use needs no internet connection.

FAQ

Web trial
The Web trial sends messages and images to external AI services through OpenRouter. Do not enter confidential, personal or customer data.
Does it need an internet connection?
Everyday use does not. Update files can be brought in by USB or similar media.
Is sensitive data sent outside?
In normal operation, it is configured not to send sensitive data to external LLMs. Backups go to storage managed by your organization, never to KOKODE’s cloud.
Can it be used from outside?
The default edition runs on the installed Mac and is not available over the LAN. On-site network access requires a compatible edition, prior network assessment and administrator approval.
Can we use the AI output as it is?
AI output is a draft. Your staff must review the content and make the final judgment.
Do we need AI engineers or GPU expertise?
Self Setup requires you to configure the software. Guided and On-site Setup include assistance with initial configuration and checks.
What happens to our knowledge when the AI model changes?
The AI model is a replaceable part. Documents, conversations, workflows and settings stay with your organization.
What does it cost?
KOKODE is a paid, perpetual commercial edition. Only the cloud interface trial is free. Bring your own hardware. The software license and onboarding services have an upfront price. Guided Setup includes 12 months of upgrades and email support, without automatic renewal or billing. Keep using your purchased version afterward. Bug and security fixes remain free. The local edition keeps data on your device. The Web trial uses external AI, so do not submit sensitive data.
